In this 2 day workshop, you will learn the ultimate properties of Bias Cut Sinamay and how far it can take you. In addition to learning about and blocking the tall crown with Sinamay on the bias, you will learn every step of creating a light and airy Bias-cut brim on one of Lina’s brim-blocks that is then in turn added to the picture. Ideal for those of you already skilled in making hats and headpieces using Sinamay, this workshop will guide you through the process of blocking a simple yet very fashionable “ BUTTON HAT” or “ BI-BI’S”, covering it flawlessly with a fabric, creating a complimentary silk flower and finally learning the variety of ideal ways to fix the small show-piece hat to the head (hat elastic, wire prongs, bandeau etc..)

-Most materials are supplied by Lina Stein other than a few essentials such as thimbles scissors, needles unless otherwise stated on the course outline.
-Depending on numbers, the workshops will be held in my studio (Rosmoney) or alternatively in another venue.
